Safety

The McFate Group has a strong commitment to providing a safe job site. We consistently take measures to make our workers follow safety protocols to produce the best quality product for every client.

All McFate Group employees maintain annual safety training certifications like:

  • 30 Hour OSHA certification for all supervisors
  • Certifications in rigging, scaffolding, forklift operation, confined space, and others for all employees.
  • First aid and CPR certification for all supervisors and job site foremen.

Our commitment to safety is carried out in the actions of every construction team member and reinforced daily with continual communication and constant inspections.

Our superintendents, hold weekly job site toolbox talks with foremen and other field personnel to address potential job site safety issues. The superintendents are in charge of conveying any site-specific and company safety plan. They also conduct daily huddles/check-ins with the site personnel. The goal of the meeting is to identify the day’s goals, construction hazards and develop a plan of attack to solves the potential challenges that may arise that day.

Sometimes The McFate Group hires out an independent Safety Director who will make periodic on-site field inspections during construction.
